Welcome to the ramble zone! Expect lots of rambling (lol) about whatever thing I have a hyperfixation on at the moment, the last thing I watched, or anything that comes to my mind. May occassionally talk about my fancharacters, so brace for that, too. Also, no spellcheck.

ok so this is the first post here. I JUST made the site and I guess I should start populating it with content. None of the lists have anything in them yet, so I haven't linked to them. That's probably gonna be one of the last things I make for the site in the revamp, just so you're aware, so it might be a bit until that's done.
but still, guess I should talk about something. recently I binged the entirety of the Witch Hat Atelier manga, and oh my god it's just so good. First things first, the art. Why the fuck is it SO PRETTY. The mangaka is so talented on god fr 100. I love the characters and their personalities, and the character development. I wasn't sure I'd like Agathe (Agott? Agata?? Fuck if I know the spelling of ANY of these characters) at first thanks to my... previous
one thing i absolutely gotta mention is the worldbuilding, shit is divine. i developed an interest in this after seeing it mentioned in the dungeon meshi subreddit where several people said that if you like the worldbuilding there, you'll probably like it here too. and I LOVE the worldbuilding in dunmeshi so it made me real curious. and people kept mentioning it there as having similar vibes so eventually i cracked and checked it out. and I'm so glad I did. I fucking love the magic system. the first thing that struck me is the sorta similarities to The Owl House's magic system (another show I love) but it's kind of different too, I'm shit at explaining. But it feels intriguing and like something that could potentially exist in a world that has magic, it's fascinating. also something that you can learn, someone made an airfryer spell lmao.
and the way their society works and was shaped is also fascinating. the whole background of the war, and the way that affects everything, it's quite cool. Like, the flaws of the society are there and make you think "well that's dumb" but it's totally justified from the context why it would be that way. like forbidden magic. that as a concept makes sense, but then they also ban medicine and magic that can heal people. like you think "that's dumb as shit" and so do several of the characters, but it's explained by the context. It's not necessarily right, but it's also not necessarily wrong, either. Just like with the brimhats vs pointyhats, it differs depending on how you view it and it's pretty gray vs gray and not really black and white
god there's just so much i wanna say about it! but i probably should stop, maybe until i can think of an actual way to phrase things lol. this post is pretty long, can't promise all my other posts will be this long, but this is a good idea of how rambly they're gonna get lol. I don't wanna subject my friends to this all the time, so this is what you get. Now, onto reading Witch Hat Atelier Kitchen (up to chapter 49, lord knows where I'll find the rest of the chapters)
Ps: Oruggio and Quifrey? Would.
